Howard M. Stein Memorial Park:    

In memory of Howard M. Stein, who served on the Board of Trustees for the Townsend Conservation Land Trust, this property consists of 20 acres and is adjacent to the Town of Townsend’s Old Meetinghouse Park Trail Network.

Pheasant Ridge Trail

This property consists of 41 acres which surround the homes residing in the Pheasant Ridge development.  The origin of the Townsend Conservation Land Trust began here with the Town of Townsend’s first Open Space Preservation District(OSPD).

Mikko & John Aho Nature Walk and Park

Vieno & Arvo Aho Memorial Park

At the request of the Aho family, a “Wilderness Trail” (foot or horse traffic only) is to be created to allow public access to both these parks.  The nearly 16 acres of land is situated between Clement Road and Laurel Woods Drive, with future access planned from Clement Road.  In addition, the Vieno & Arvo Aho Memorial Park was established and sits on 1.2 acres at the intersection of Fitchburg and Clement Roads.
